Christmas is fast approaching, and the bear will soon have his hat on.

It’s been great to welcome visitors back to Buxton Museum and Art Gallery over the last few months and cautiously tiptoe back to normality after the lockdown. Those of you who have been in to see us have been very generous with your donations and kind feedback, the latter of which has propelled BMAG into the top five Best Things to Do in Buxton on TripAdvisor. Hoorah!

For those of you who haven’t yet been to explore the rich, varied and often eccentric history of Buxton and the Peak District yet (or find somewhere pleasant to shelter from Buxton’s infamous Winter climate), here are our festive opening times. As always, admission is free.
